They do not take up as much room as you would think, as little as 13.5 inches folded up! Stairlifts also come in a variety of different styles. There are multiple straight rail options, e.g. Bruno Elan 300 lb weight cap, Bruno Elite 400 lb weight cap, Handicare 1100 - 300 lb weight cap, and Harmar SL600HD - 600 lb weight cap are our most popular stairlifts. If you have any landings, pie-shaped steps, 90° degree or 180° twists or turns, or want the rail to extend a little bit on the top or bottom, a curved stair lift would be right for you. Bruno Independent Living Aids has a very durable steel curved rail. It comes standard with a 400 lb weight capacity. Handicare also has a curved rail option. Handicare offers a single tube rail system that wraps around the staircase, with a 275 lb weight capacity. These lifts may also be called chairlifts, stair chairs, stair elevators, sometimes even lift chairs. Whatever it may be, stairlifts will help you get up and down your staircase with ease. 

The installation of straight stairlifts only takes a couple hours. Curved rail units take a little bit more time, but still are finished within 3-4 hours. We are very confident with our staff and the capability of them to repair and install these chairlifts. Every new unit comes with a warranty from the manufacturer.
