We offer extended warranties on new stairlifts that we install. We also plan on having more extended warranty options in the future. Listed below is information about our standard labor warranties, and the manufacturer’s warranties.

As of January 1st, 2019 we have a limited lifetime labor warranty on all products purchased in store, and brought back to MMP for service. Trip and Labor will still be applied for appointments scheduled in a customers home. In home service still includes our standard 1 year warranty, but the trip charge will always apply. BRUNO GOLD LIMITED WARRANTY FOR STAIRLIFT

Limited Lifetime Major Components — 2 Year Parts

Bruno Independent Living Aids, Inc. (Bruno) is confident in its USA-designed and built stairlift units and is pleased to provide the Original Purchaser of a Bruno Stairlift with the following “Industry Leading” warranty. The quality of parts used, along with the care of Bruno’s employees in constructing Bruno’s products, allow Bruno to provide the following warranty coverage to the Original Purchaser of the Bruno Stairlift:

  • All Parts, other than Major Components, are/will be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years after the date of installation by a Bruno Authorized Dealer.
  • All Major Components, which include the motor, gearbox drivetrain and stationary rail system of the Bruno Stairlift, are/will be free of defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the Bruno Stairlift and as long as the Original Purchaser owns the Stairlift. Major Components do not include optional equipment.
  • All labor, to be provided by a Bruno Authorized Dealer, to address any defect of the Bruno Stairlift is covered for the first thirty (30) days after installation thereof by a Bruno Authorized Dealer.
  • All Bruno warranties begin on the date of installation of the Bruno Stairlift by a Bruno Authorized Dealer but that date should be no later than 14 months after it was shipped from the factory.


Bruno Authorized Dealers are trained to evaluate your unique situation and then install the best Bruno Stairlift to meet your needs. The trained installation and service technicians employed by a Bruno Authorized Dealer have the appropriate equipment and resources needed to correctly install and maintain the Bruno Stairlift and should be the first contact for any warranty or service needs.


WHAT IS NOT WARRANTY COVERAGE:


  • Damage to units caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, neglect or modifications NOT made by a Bruno Authorized Dealer.
  • Consumable items such as remote batteries
  • All labor by a Bruno Authorized Dealer after the first thirty (30) days since installation.
  • Reasonable wear and tear.


ADDITIONAL NOTES:

  • All Service and Warranty must be brought to the attention of a Bruno Authorized Dealer. To ensure warranty coverage all maintenance and repair work on the Bruno Stairlift, other than maintenance provided by the Original Purchaser as called for in the Owner’s Manual, must be performed by a Bruno Authorized Dealer.
  • In no event shall Bruno be responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, whether such damages arise based on claims based on contract, warranty, tort (including negligence, strict liability or product liability).
  • Bruno, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to replace, repair, or, if not commercially practical and/or feasible, to elect to refund the Original Purchaser the purchase price of the Bruno Stairlift.
  • This warranty gives the Original Purchaser specific legal rights for which the Original Purchaser may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Bruno specifically does not authorize any person to extend the time or scope of this warranty.

LIFT CHAIR CONSUMER LIMITED LIFETIME AND SEVEN YEAR WARRANTY

GOLDEN, through its authorized distributor/service organization, warrants this chair to original consumer only, against defects in material or workmanship as follows:

LIFT MECHANISM, RECLINE MECHANISM AND CHAIR FRAME LIMITED WARRANTY

GOLDEN, warrants for the lifetime of the chair by the original consumer to repair or replace at Golden’s option the Lift Mechanism, Chair Frame and Recline Mechanism. Labor to replace these parts is subsidized on all models for three years. The Capri and Monarch are limited to six months subsidized labor. GOLDEN, shall not be responsible or obligated to pay for any cost or expense for examination of any warranted parts nor is Golden to pay for costs for transportation, handling and packaging of the parts or components.


THREE YEAR ELECTRICAL PARTS WARRANTY

GOLDEN, warrants the electrical parts of this chair against defects to original consumer only, for a period of three years from the date of original purchase by a consumer. The Monarch chair has electrical parts warranty of 2 years. The Capri is limited to 1 year electrical parts warranty. Labor to replace these parts is subsidized for one year on all models except Capri and Monarch, which are limited to 6 months. GOLDEN, shall not be responsible or obligated to pay for any costs or expenses for examination of any Warranted parts nor is Golden to pay cost for transportation, handling and packaging of the parts or components.

ELECTRICAL PARTS LIMITED WARRANTY FOURTH THROUGH SEVENTH YEAR

During the period beginning with the expiration of the full three year parts warranty offered above and continuing through the seventh year after date of original purchase by a consumer, GOLDEN will warrant the electrical parts on the following prorated basis. Year 4 earns a 35% discount off suggested retail price. Year 5 earns a 25% discount. Year 6 a 15% discount and year 7 a 5% discount. By way of example, a part costing $100.00 that needs replacement in year 4 would cost $65.00.GOLDEN shall not be responsible or obligated to pay for any costs or expenses for examination and/or service of any warranted part or to pay for costs of transportation, handling and packaging of the chairs and/or parts or components. The Capri
and Monarch are excluded from this portion of the warranty.


TERMS APPLICABLE TO WARRANTIES

GOLDEN will, at its option, repair and/or replace the defective parts and/or components provided that the warranty parts have not been subjected to misuse, abuse or improper service by the consumer, have not been damaged in transit or handling and / or have not been altered or repaired by unauthorized representatives. This warranty does not include costs for unnecessary service calls, i.e., in-home service calls solely for the purpose of educating the consumer about the product, or finding an unsatisfactory power connection, etc. Exceeding the weight capacity of the chair will void the warranty.

In the event that the product does not conform to this warranty at any time while this warranty is in effect, Golden will correct the defect in conformity with the Consumer Limited Lifetime and Seven Year Warranty. THE LIMITED LIFETIME AND SEVEN YEAR WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE IS THE SOLE AND ENTIRE WARRANTY PERTAINING TO THE PRODUCT AND IS IN LIEU OF AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR ARISING BY OPERATION OF LAW INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMIITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER OR PROVIDE FOR THE REIMBURSEMENT OR PAYMENT OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some states do not allow this exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. CONSUMER LIMITED LIFETIME AND SEVEN YEAR WARRANTY

GOLDEN, through its authorized distributor/service organization, warrants this chair to original consumer only, against defects in material or workmanship as follows:

Some states do not allow this exclusion or limitation of incidental damages so the above limitation or Exclusion
may not apply to you. GOLDEN shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damage or loss not contained
in this Warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which may
vary from State to state. All warranty claims must be approved by Golden Technologies before any service is
performed. Warranty is valid in all 50 states, Canadian Provinces and Puerto Rico.

What is the Zoomer’s warranty?

The Zoomer includes a limited one year warranty. Journey warrants the frame, mechanical, and electrical components, including motor, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. The originally supplied battery, tires, fabric seat, seat back and seat cushion are warrantied to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of six (6) months from the date of purchase.

Pride Mobility

Power Lift Recliner Warranty

LIFETIME WARRANTY


Pride offers a lifetime warranty on the lift and scissor mechanisms and lift frame. Pride warrants that the lift and scissor mechanisms and lift frame on your lift chair will be free from defects under normal use and that service is available for as long as the chair is in use by the original owner. This lifetime warranty covers the lift and scissor mechanisms against metal fatigue, defective welds, and bushings.


NOTE: Pride reserves the right to replace only the part of the lift and scissor mechanism, scissor(s) or lift frame that may be defective from workmanship. Misuse and/or abuse are excluded from warranty.
NOTE: Power Lift Recliner model numbers may contain a prefix or suffix (i.e., prefixes LC, NM, or SR; suffixes S, M, L, PW, etc.). When referring to the information contained in this warranty, look for only the numeric portion of your specific model.
EXCLUSIONS: The Lifetime Warranty on the scissor mechanisms and lift frame does not extend to the following models, which are covered by the separate warranties: 102, 105, 106, 107, 250, and 358XXL.
MANDATORY! Stay within the specified weight capacity of your power lift recliner. Exceeding the weight capacity voids your power lift recliner warranty.

SEVEN-YEAR PRO-RATED LIMITED WARRANTY (HERITAGE, INFINITY, AND OASIS COLLECTIONS [ELEGANCE COLLECTION AND 108, CANADA ONLY])

For the first four (4) years from the date of purchase, Pride will repair or replace at our option to the original purchaser any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized representative of Pride to be defective in material and/or workmanship. Any warranty claims for electronic assemblies may become void if damage results from the use of parts/accessories that are not Pride original parts and are not purchased through an authorized Pride provider:

  • Motor
  • Heat Pad
  • Scissor Mechanisms (excluding 358XXL)
  • Hand Control
  • Massage Unit
  •  Transformer/Control Boxes
  • Lift Frame (excluding 358XXL)
    For three (3) additional years, a pro-rated warranty will be made available for the following parts:

    Pride will warrant these components with the following pro-rated schedule:

ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY (105 [102, 106, AND 107 CANADA ONLY])

For one (1) year from the date of purchase, Pride will repair or replace at our option to the original purchaser any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized representative of Pride to be defective in material and/or workmanship. Any warranty claims for electronic assemblies may become void if damage results from the use of parts/accessories that are not Pride original parts and are not purchased through an authorized Pride provider:

RF WIRELESS PENDANT WARRANTY

All RF Wireless Pendants are covered against breakage by a 90-day warranty from Pride effective from date of purchase. Warranty excludes loss of pendant.


LITHIUM-ION BATTERY PACK
The lithium-ion battery pack is covered by a twelve (12) month (1 year) warranty.


WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not extend to fabric.
Pride is not responsible or obligated to pay for labor, service calls, shipping, and/or any other charges incurred for repair of the product. All transportation costs and shipping damage incurred while submitting parts for repair or replacement are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please contact your authorized Pride provider for information on the current cost associated with a service visit.

  • Circumstances beyond the control of Pride
  • Labor, service calls, shipping and other charges incurred for repair of the product, unless specifically
    authorized, IN ADVANCE, by Pride
  • Repairs and/or modifications made to any part without specific consent from Pride
    Exclusions also include components with damage caused by:
  • Parts/accessories that are not Pride original parts and are not purchased through an authorized Pride provider.
  • Contamination
  • Abuse (including but not limited to product being dropped or being subjected to severe impact/crush), misuse,
    or negligence
  • Battery fluid spillage or leakage
  • Commercial use or use other than normal
  • Improper operation, maintenance, or storage
  • Acts of God or Nature


TWO-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY (250)
For two (2) years from the date of purchase, Pride will repair or replace at our option to the original purchaser any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized representative of Pride to be defective in material and/or workmanship. Any warranty claims for electronic assemblies may become void if damage results from the use of parts/accessories that are not Pride original parts and are not purchased through an authorized Pride provider:

IMPLIED WARRANTIES
Implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to one (1) year from the date of purchase and to the extent permitted by law. Any and all other implied warranties are excluded. This is the exclusive remedy. Liabilities for consequential damages under any and all warranties are excluded. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages. The above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
